I work at Mei because of the diversity of projects and the great atmosphere within the office.

My favorite building is The Therme Vals, by Peter Zumthor. The design elements such as materials, light and darkness, warm and cold, create a highly sensational experience and fascinating architecture. My favorite urban space is Parc de la Villette designed by Bernard Tchumi, a great example of conceptual approach transformed into real space.

I am proud of the broad education and work experience I’ve gained during my studies, in different countries and reputable firms. I’m also proud of my contribution to competition winning teams, such as my first building to be realized, the Halmstad Art Museum, in Halmstad, Sweden.

Elva obtained her Msc. degree in Architecture from Patras University in Greece and a Msc. degree in Sustainable Urban Design from Lund University in Sweden. She has worked at White Arkitekter in Sweden and at Urban Power in Denmark.
