During MaterialDistrict, which takes place from Tuesday 5 April to 7 April in the Werkspoorkathedraal in Utrecht, Robert Platje will give a lecture on wooden residential building SAWA.
With 150 exhibitors, an exhibition of 250 materials and a lecture programme with 25 speakers, MaterialDistrict is full of material inspiration. As the only annual event for material designers from all sectors of spatial design, MaterialDistrict is fully committed to the Circular Economy.
During the presentation ‘SAWA: Towards the Timber Revolution’, Robert will elaborate on the idea behind the residential building. In what way does the project add value to the neighbourhood and the city? Based on the core values of SAWA, Robert will share his vision on timber construction.
