Out of all 70 projects that were submitted in the categories Renovation, Transformation and Urban Transformation, the jury of the NRP Gulden Feniks 2020 nominated seven projects. The winners will be announced on November 17, 2020.
The jury previously made a longlist, after which it visited all selected projects. After these visits, the selection was reduced to seven nominations: Atlas (Eindhoven), Park Hoog Oostduin (The Hague), De Nieuwe Stad (Amersfoort), De Nieuwe International School (Amsterdam), RCO House (Amsterdam), Museum De Lakenhal (Leiden) ), and Fenix I in Rotterdam.
The NRP Gulden Feniks is an annual prize for the most excellent renovation and transformation projects in the Netherlands. Nominated and award-winning projects serve as examples for similar projects in the future, to convey success factors and learning points. A maximum of four projects will be awarded; one for each category, and a wildcard, for a project that has made a big impact with a relatively low investment. Fenix I has been submitted in the Transformation category.
This is no less than the fifteenth (!) nomination for Fenix I. View the full list of nominations here.
