Mei is working on robust regional visions that create the conditions for the emergence of green, mixed and lively cities. With carefully designed frameworks, we safeguard the character of the place, the spatial quality and sustainable, functional infrastructure for the long term. Within this, we create space for initiative and new insights.
By integrating existing structures with precision, the new developments are embedded in the environment. To allow the use of the location to build on the energy present in the area, we are actively involved in the programming and placemaking. With knowledge of both architecture and urban planning, we connect different levels of scale. Urban planning mass, building typology, green and water structure, public space and visual quality are always closely interwoven.
