On Monday April 18th Mei celebrated the start of construction of Fenix I in Rotterdam – Katendrecht, together with the councilor of Rotterdam Ronald Schneider, Heijmans, all project stakeholders and many buyers of a new loft apartment. The councilor congratulated all buyers with the purchase of a property in the most ‘Rotterdam’ area of Rotterdam.
The Fenix warehouses have a unique history and were originally built to accommodate the expansion of the fleet of the Holland Amerika Lijn. After transformation Fenix I will resurrect with a mixed program of culture, housing and car park in the two levels of the former warehouse. And no less than 212 loft apartments will be added on top!
