April 20, 2021, Mei hosted a live webinar about SAWA in OMI with Pieter Kuster.
Robert Winkel presented SAWA, the first fully wooden residential building in Rotterdam. In the webinar he examines the underlying ideas; from the construction to the intended community. Winkel talked about the biodiversity in SAWA, including the wealthy range of plants and nesting boxes for various birds. The live stream ended with a Q&A in which listeners asked questions about this project and its significance for the current housing assignment.

The webinar is part of the programming of the exhibition ‘Rotterdam en Mei’.
