Mei is one of the 100 design teams selected to contribute to the largest scale model of the Netherlands, organized by the Ministerie van Maak! With this model, the organization wants to give an impetus to a radical rebuilding of the Netherlands and offer concrete solutions for the current housing shortage, the energy transition and the consequences of climate change.
Every team will develop a plan for 10,000 homes at one of the designated test locations (4 sq km each) throughout the Netherlands. The final scale model will be presented at the 10th International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam (IABR), from 14 October – 13 November.
