Because of the many years of experience in re-use and high-quality conversion of historic buildings, Mei architects has been asked to design for two projects in the Norwegian capital Oslo and its surroundings. Last week Robert Winkel and Robert Platje traveled to Oslo to visit the locations, give a lecture and join the kick-off workshops of the projects.
One of the projects involves the redevelopment of a former paper mill in Moss including the surrounding area of no less than 160 hectares.

The second challenge lies in the center of Oslo and concerns the redevelopment of Aquavit distillery. The total program of this project contains 50,000 m2 for including living, working and shopping.

Mei architects is designated as leading architect. Both projects are being launched presently.
