Last Sunday, February 9th, the new Sawa project was presented to neighbors of the Lloydquarter. The information meeting in Café Verhip had a great turn up of approximately 130 people. The reactions were predominantly positive.
Sawa will be the first fully wooden residential building of 50 meters high in Rotterdam. Mei has been commissioned by Nice Developers & ERA Contour to design this apartment building. Exceptional to Sawa is that the building will be built entirely in CLT (cross laminated wood). Furthermore, the building is distinguished by the generous green terraces, with which the building enhances the biodiversity of the neighborhood.
