The three glass atria of the Jobsveem building allow light to penetrate the interior and provide the dwellings situated around them with daylight and a view. In order to shut out rain and wind, glass slats haven been placed in the each opening. For maximum transparency these slats have only been affixed to vertical steel stressing bars, with specially developed stainless steel cast nodes. These nodes have been equipped with ball-bearing hinges to handle the movement of the fa├žade caused by wind.
