Our project Gasometer has been named the winner of the DNA Paris Design Award 2024 in the Green Architecture category. Two of our architects were present in Paris to receive this prestigious award – a proud moment indeed.
A green oasis on an iconic foundation
The Gasometer in Münster is not just any building. This former industrial gas holder is undergoing a transformation into a green, nature-inclusive residential tower. Surrounded by a lush park, it retains its iconic character while providing space for healthy, sustainable living and a close-knit community. It’s an inspiring example of how industrial heritage can be given a new future.
A multi-award-winning project
This award is the cherry on top for the Gasometer, which already boasts an impressive list of accolades and nominations. It previously won a WAFX Award, Iconic Awards 2024 – Best of Best, and Architecture Masterprize, and reached the finals of the Architizer A+ Awards and the World Architecture Festival.
Gasometer is being developed and designed with an international and multidisciplinary team of experts in this ambitious project, consisting of the client / developer UTB Projektmanagement GmbH, collaborative and local architect Peter Bastian (Peter Bastian Architekten), landscape architects Inside Outside and consultants PIRMIN JUNG, AWD Ingenieure, INNIUS, Bauart Ingenieure and ENGIE Deutschland.
