Commissioned by Accresco, Mei designed the transformation of the former office building, Glashaven 8-12. Construction has started mid-2021, and completion is scheduled for the end of 2022.
By means of an elevation of three layers, space is created for student housing. The building will have a residential program with 87 independent studios, communal and private outdoor spaces and a bicycle cellar with storage facilities. The local supermarket in the plinth of the building will be retained and open during construction.
