At WEST507, the former ‘Ocean House’ on the Westzeedijk in Rotterdam, different time layers have been combined in the transformation. Bouwwereld spoke with Robert Platje about how Mei peeled off the dilapidated building and turned it into a richly varied ensemble whose history can be read.
